    I think the points made are very good. One concern I have is that the prevention community has been sitting on the sidelines hoping ballot initiatives will fail. Ballot initiatives are a bad way for legalization to happen and when they succeed we’re all the worse for it. We need legislators to step up and use the deliberative process that hears public health concerns before enacting the laws, instead of waiting until they pass to raise objections when it’s too late.
